Arts Are for Everyone
We believe arts are for everyday, for everyone. Arts capture and vivify the unique aspects of human culture. Often, though, arts are marginalized in daily life.
Because of this, we offer trainings and workshops that help local cultures identify expressions that uniquely characterize them, and to build on them. Offerings include:
Gather | Create | Integrate
Gather your community to share their insight and skill in local art forms. Our facilitator first leads the group into an analysis of local art genres, their uses, and applications. From that data, the group chooses which art genre they wish to build on. Groups break into teams to create new iterations of the work. The new works are shared, discussed, and improved. Finally, the community discusses how to integrate new works into regular usage.

Recording | Transcription | Analysis
A song, a steeple, a carpet, a hat. One thing all of these share in common is artistic form. We offer in-depth analysis, documenting, and archiving of cultural artifacts (both material, such as architecture or a sculpture, and non-material, such as a dance or song) for the sake of deeper understanding and lasting preservation. Such analysis may aid in future creation of cultural artifacts or merely preserving knowledge.
Material artistic creations, such as paintings, clothing, architecture, calligraphy, sculpture, handicrafts, etc.
Non-material arts, such as dance, singing, drama, oral-verbal arts, etc. Includes transcription of music, dance, and oral arts.
Material artifacts, such as musical instruments, tools, etc.
Cultural Gatherings | Deep Values
Cultural events embody deep troves of values and traditions. But often their scale makes capturing them difficult. Using ethnographic tools, our team will survey, record, analyze, and report on your cultural event. Events can be of any size, from a large-scale parade or festival, down to a family gathering. Findings can be collated in a presentation, report, article, or video.
